King George VI is a Great Western King named after King George VI of the United Kingdom who was king between December 11th 1936 and February 6th 1952.

King George VI is based on a GWR 6000 King Class 4-6-0. Specifically the real 6028. Three others survive, 6000 King George V, 6023 King Edward ll, and 6024 King Edward I.

King George VI will presumably be painted in the Brunswick Green of both the GWR and British Railways.
